Here’s what you’ll taste:
Salteñas:
We begin with the iconic Bolivian salteñas – juicy, savory pastries stuffed with seasoned meat (vegetarian option available). A perfect combination of flavors, warmth, and spice. It’s not just food; it’s a piece of Bolivian history in every bite.
Relleno de Papa:
Next, indulge in relleno de papa – a delectable potato ball filled with spiced meat. It’s crispy on the outside and soft inside, bursting with flavor. This is a favorite you might have seen on Netflix’s “Street Food” series – and yes, we’ll be visiting the famous street vendor!

Tumbo Juice:
Refresh yourself with tumbo juice, made from a native Andean fruit. This sweet and tangy drink will energize you as we make our way through La Paz’s colorful streets. Pasta “Soup”:
Next, we’ll head to El Alto, where we’ll try an Andean twist on a pasta dish – peanut pasta “soup.” It’s not actually a soup but fried pasta, cooked with a rich peanut sauce and topped with beef or eggs. A dish that’s hearty, comforting, and full of flavor.
Local Market Walk:
We’ll stroll through a vibrant local market, where you’ll find organic products that are central to our cuisine. From grains to spices, everything here is part of the daily life of the people of La Paz.
Cinnamon Ice Cream at San Pedro Prison:
To round off your culinary adventure, we’ll return to La Paz and finish with cinnamon ice cream near San Pedro Prison – a sweet, refreshing treat to end your tour on a high note.
